Grand Paris Express: ALTAMIRA INFORMATION in charge of the satellite surveillance of the project
ALTAMIRA INFORMATION is proud to announce that it has been awarded a 4,5M€ contract for the satellite-based supervision of the Grand Paris Express project by the Société du Grand Paris. This project includes the construction of 200 additional kilometres of metro lines and 68 new stations that will link the transport hubs of Greater Paris, the three airports and the TGV (high-speed train) stations.
Free and Open Source Software for Geospatial (FOSS4G 2015) Conference
ALTAMIRA INFORMATION participated in the FOSS4G-Europe Conference from 14 to 17 July 2015 in Como, Italy. The conference brought together geospatial software users and developers worldwide and fostered closer interactions amongst European communities in order to share ideas for improving geodata, software and applications. The new ARGOS Animal Tracking 3D application was presented in a poster session. This 3D application enhances the visualisation and analysis of CLS ARGOS service for animal tracking.
