GROUND MOTION PRODUCTS
Ground motion products are twofold: average yearly ground motion maps and time series charts for specific measurement points.
These products are generated using ALTAMIRA INFORMATION’s own in-house PSI software:

- Ground motion products measure the average yearly ground motion rate with millimetric precision for a specific area of interest
- For every measurement point, a time series chart can be generated, visualising the evolution of ground motion over time
- Ongoing ground motion can be monitored with continuously updated data
- Past motion can be uniquely detected using archive data available since 1992
- The techniques rely on the presence of measurable points, as e.g. urban areas, constructions or unvegetated landscape
- Areas without measurable points (such as surfaces with vegetation, snow…) can be monitored with Artificial Corner Reflectors that are installed in the area of interest
