INSAR SOFTWARE & TRAINING

DIAPASON (Differential Interferometric Automated Process Applied to Survey Of Nature) is software for InSAR applications related to change detection and ground movement of large areas.
DIAPASON software was developed by the CNES (French Space Agency). As of 2000, ALTAMIRA INFORMATION is responsible for its maintenance and marketing it worldwide.

DIAPASON: the tool of reference
DIAPASON: The Tool of Reference for an international users' community
DIAPASON interferometry processing software has become, since its creation in 1992, the tool of reference for applications in ground movement detection. The international research community has used DIAPASON to validate models and optimize in-situ measurements in various domains like for example vulcanology, seismology and glaciology.
The private sector has shown growing interest in the software not only for its performance in ground movement detection but also for its orthorectification capabilities.

Interferometric Processing Chain
This complete chain, which includes the SAR PRISME processor, facilitates creation of all kinds of interferometric products from raw data or Single Look Complex (SLC) images acquired by radar satellites such as JERS-1, ERS-1, ERS-2, Envisat, Radarsat-1, Alos and TerraSAR-X.
From the automatic data import to the completion of a differential interferogram, the new user can perform all processing steps using the intuitive windows of the graphical user interface.

InSAR DEM Module

InSAR Digital Elevation Module (DEM)

Thanks to the InSAR DEM module, DIAPASON offers the possibility to create a DEM from a pair of SAR SLC data.
To go through the phase unwrapping process, DIAPASON incorporates the SNAPHU software, one of the most efficient tools worldwide. In addition, DIAPASON is capable of integrating any form of previously known topographic information, such as the global SRTM DEM.
High resolution DEMs of 20 x 20 m are generated with a height accuracy that depends on the interferograms used and may be improved by any a priori information injected.
