The ground motion rate is given for each reliable pixel over a given period of time and is compensated for atmospheric effects using ALTAMIRA INFORMATION’s own in-house PSI software: SPN (Stable Point Network).

- Advanced Differential InSAR measures ground deformation rates for areas on which a limited number of images are available in archive
- This technique uses 10 or more SAR images
- With these SAR images, 25 or more interferograms are created to estimate atmospheric compensation for each interferogram and a precise average ground motion map. The ground motion rate is shown in coded colours.
- Ground deformation is measured with a vertical precision of 2 mm/year
- Horizontal localisation precision of measurement points is 10 m
