INSAR SPN WITH ARTIFICIAL CORNER REFLECTORS (ACR'S)
High-precision ground deformation data for artificially installed measurement points (aluminium corner reflectors) using ALTAMIRA INFORMATION’s own in-house PSI software: SPN.
- Artificial Corner Reflectors are installed if there are not sufficient "natural radar measurements points", for example in areas with trees, snow and low infrastructure presence
- Measurements are given at the exact required location
- The Artificial Corner Reflectors are aluminium trihedrals, with a size depending on its specific needs, standard size 65 x 65 x 65 cm
- With only 3 images, first measurement results can be generated
- Measurement results are presented for each Artificial Corner Reflector with deformation charts
- Similar to Stable Point Network technique, ground deformation is measured with a vertical precision of 1 mm/year
