Objective of the project
The objective was to validate InSAR as an appropriate technology to measure subsidence in Barcelona port. The validation was focused on the main dike of the Port, where geodetic measures taken by the Topographic Service of the Port were available. |
Analysis and results
Analysis of historical data (1995-2002) to measure subsidence at Barcelona Port.
Measured area is the main dike of the Port which protects all the other infrastructures.
Comparison of results with existing geodetic measures taken by the Topographic Service.
Results: InSAR subsidence time series and previously existing reference values are in a very good agreement.
